Rideau Fencing — 1-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty Version RF-W-2026-10-14-R90

Coverage: New fence installations are covered for qualifying defects caused by Rideau Fencing’s installation workmanship for 12 months from documented substantial completion. Examples include improperly installed posts, rails, fasteners, or gates when the issue results from installation workmanship. Rideau Fencing will inspect a reported issue and correct qualifying workmanship defects.

Exclusions: Coverage excludes weather damage (including storms, wind, flooding, and lightning), natural wood movement (including checking, splitting, shrinking, swelling, and warping), normal wear and aging, soil movement, settlement, erosion, or drainage conditions unrelated to installation workmanship, misuse, impact damage, and alterations or repairs performed by third parties. A condition attributable to defective installation workmanship remains subject to the coverage above.

Manufacturer warranties: Materials, finishes, hardware, and automatic-gate equipment may carry separate manufacturer warranties, subject to the manufacturer’s own terms. Manufacturer coverage is not an extension of this workmanship warranty. Applicable manufacturer documents will be identified separately with the project.

Claims: Contact PaulR@RideauFencing.com or (936) 647-8671 during the applicable warranty period. Provide the customer name, project address, estimate or invoice number, a description of the issue, and photographs when available. Rideau Fencing will arrange a review and determine whether the issue qualifies. Allow Rideau Fencing an opportunity to inspect before third-party alterations.

Contract exceptions: A municipal or commercial project may use different warranty terms when expressly stated in its written contract or accepted proposal. The specific written terms accepted for that project govern its workmanship coverage. Qualifying fence repairs carry a 90-day limited workmanship warranty from documented substantial completion, limited to the repaired work specified in the accepted estimate. This does not extend coverage to existing or unrepaired portions of the fence.
